Prototype: The Volkswagen VW Typ 82, or Kübelwagen (abbreviated from Kübelsitzwagen or bucket-seat car) was the primary light utility vehicle of the Wehrmacht during the Second World War. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche it was based on his earlier KdF-Wagen or “Beetle” car but had a stronger chassis for rough terrain. Powered by a 985-1131 cc air-cooled engine in the rear and equipped with a self-locking differential, the Kübelwagen was lightweight and performed well in all theaters despite having only two-wheel drive. The car was easy to manufacture and 50,435 Kübelwagen were produced during the war.

PLEASE NOTE: These models are all handmade and painted which makes every one unique. This means the paint patterns may vary a little and the detail parts like sandbags, turret tracks, antennas, etc. may also be arranged differently. This was also the case in real life. These models are very prototypical.
