Product Features and Details

The 24 series was built by Schichau and Linke-Hofmann between 1926 and 1938. It was used a lot on long and flat branch lines in Northern Germany and there it was given the nickname of "steppe horse". In all 95 of this type of locomotive, which was closely related to the class 64, were built. The model is a completely new construction; all of the important differences in design compared to the class 64 have been taken into account. The model is to appear in the course of 2008 in the version with Witte smoke deflectors.
