Prototype: After the beginning of the Second World War, the Dutch army’s M.36 and M.38 armored cars, manufactured by AB Landsverk of Sweden, were painted a dark green and given the orange triangle “neutrality” markings similar to the ones painting on Dutch military aircraft. During the May 10-14, 1940 German invasion and campaign in the Netherlands (Meidagen), the armored cars operated all over the country, being able to quickly move where they were needed. The 37mm cannon was particularly effective against the German invaders as German armored cars were equipped with 20mm cannons and most German tanks operating in the Netherlands mounted only a single 20mm or 37mm cannon. Several armored cars played a pivotal role in thwarting the German attempt to capture the Dutch capital of The Hague with Fallschirmjäger and air-landing troops on May 10, 1940.

PLEASE NOTE: These models are all handmade and painted which makes every one unique. This means the paint patterns may vary a little and the detail parts like sandbags, turret tracks, antennas, etc. may also be arranged differently. This was also the case in real life. These models are very prototypical.
